Material Handler

About the role

A Senior Material Handler is responsible for supporting advanced manufacturing operations by managing material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery to production lines.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials to ensure quality and accuracy
• Staging and kitting components for production
• Operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining ERP transactions and documentation for inventory management
• Coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and upholding safety and security standards
• Mentoring junior handlers to develop skills and maintain high performance

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling within a high-tech or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and related equipment
• Strong understanding of inventory management and ERP systems
• Excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement
