About the role
Site Catalent’s Winchester facility is a modern manufacturing site dedicated to producing high-quality oral solid dose products for the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities
- Operate equipment for warehouse activities, including propane or electric forklifts to move products
- Complete production material requests and pick lists accurately within 90 minutes of receipt
- Distribute and store finished goods, work in process, and raw materials according to guidelines
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for warehouse and site operations
- Perform documentation on all Manufacturing Work Orders
- Complete material transactions in JD Edwards 9.1 to verify quantity, expiration date, location, and status
- Return materials from production to proper locations before shift end for accuracy and availability
- Operate stretch wrap machine and secure pallet loads
- Load and unload trailer loads using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and safety practices
- Attach necessary labels to materials
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and removing obstacles
- Maintain proper operation and functionality of warehouse equipment
- Store materials appropriately and maintain accurate accounting of raw materials
- Adhere to all Catalent site safety policies and procedures
- Safely operate a company box truck to transport materials between warehouse locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment required
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, and turret trucks
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures and Current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Basic mathematical and reasoning ability
- Good documentation skills and proficient reading and writing skills
- Good verbal communication skills and proficiency in English
- Familiarity with inventory control systems
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Proficiency in safely operating vehicles, including box trucks for material transportation
- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment preferred
