About the role
Burpee is the nationwide leader in home gardening, a privately owned seed, plant, and hard goods company with over 150 years of history. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, team‑committed Material Handler for our Warminster, PA warehouse to support production and warehousing teams by transporting materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilize warehouse scanner to capture material movement.
- Operate and be certified to use warehouse power equipment.
- Calculate basic math equations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Cross‑train and perform general warehouse duties as directed by the Operations Manager, especially with production and seed pulling.
- Work closely with department leads to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production, shipping, and storage areas.
Requirements
- Acute attention to detail and highly organized.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to read, speak, and count in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
