Primary Purpose
Moves materials and completed racks throughout the facility and efficiently using carts, cranes, and forklifts.
Essential Duties
- Transports material or racks to and from designated areas.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
- Ensures loads are secure.
- Moves goods packed on pallets on material carts around the facility.
- Stacks goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions.
- Dump materials into machine scrap hoppers.
- Performs daily equipment checks:
- Recharging truck battery and lubricating equipment.
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines (machine operator should remove attachments and re-attach when finished charging).
Qualifications
- No formal education required.
- One year preferred in forklift operation.
- One year preferred in manufacturing environment.
Pay
$18-$20 hourly based on skills and experience.
