Material Handler

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed to support production and ensure smooth workflow
• Bundle and tag completed trim and angle materials; store them neatly in designated areas
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards both inside and outside the facility with materials easily accessible
• Organize and stage materials for production or shipment
• Follow and implement instructions from supervisors
• Perform daily forklift inspections and submit weekly inspection reports
• Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives and investigations. Comply with all safety procedures
• Participate in clean-up responsibilities and maintains daily good housekeeping practices according to 5S procedures
• Perform other duties and tasks as required

Requirements/Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Previous experience operating a variety of powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, etc.)
• Proven ability to accept and apply feedback and directives from supervisors and other team members
• On-time attendance for every shift
