About the Role
This is a material handler role with some shipping and receiving.
Schedule
Shift/Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Half hour lunch. Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Organize the inside and outside storage areas and maintain organization daily.
- Confirm on-hand inventory matches inventory records.
- Pull orders for warehouse transfers and Saginaw orders and conduct the necessary transactions to keep inventory accurate.
- Perform daily safety inspection for forklifts, pallet racks, and other equipment.
- Keep storage area clean and free of debris.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: HS/G.E.D.
- Required Work Experience: Some warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
- Required Training/Certifications: None required (we will certify on fork truck regardless of previous certifications from other employers); however, a CDL could be useful in the future.
- Required Computer and Software Skills: Ability to utilize a scan gun and email.
- Travel Requirements: No travel required for this position.
- Additional Requirements: Must be self‑motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team; must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved PPE, including respirators; employees required to wear respirators must be clean‑shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
