Material Handler

About the role

The Material Handler will load trucks and containers in accordance with shipping instructions and maintain the warehouse in an orderly and organized fashion.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies.
• Adhere/Follow all safety rules.
• Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns.
• Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area.
• Operates forklift in a safe manner.
• Stages/stocks materials and accessories in established locations.
• Prepares finished goods for transport.
• Loads orders for safe and secure shipping.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
• Move product from the warehouse and load onto specified equipment (trucks/container).
• Complete required shipping paperwork.
• Must be computer literate to enter shipping data into SAP.
• Unload, receive and warehouse deliveries of production materials (packaging and facer).
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred (demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer‑controlled equipment)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
