Responsibilities

• Box and pack pillows according to ATC standards and work assignments; record information in the ATC system (new hires or transferred employees must meet standard within 1 week).
• Supply production lines with components, including loading hoppers with fiber, making boxes for pillows, and applying license plates to pallets.
• Pull bags and shells to the line from the staging area.
• Pack and box pillows, and pack shipping cartons with finished product according to customer specifications.
• Ensure accurate carton count and affix appropriate labels onto cartons.
• Scan license plates using handheld scanners.
• Select orders to run on the operator screen and record downtime and changeovers.
• Maintain records of fiber license plates pulled to the line.
• Perform production changeover duties between work orders.
• Use all company equipment and property carefully and safely.
• Report any equipment problems to an immediate supervisor or the maintenance department.
• Perform duties in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
