Material Handler

About the role

Algas-SDI is seeking a Material Handler to join their Supply Chain Team. The role involves ensuring warehouse and production operations run smoothly by delivering materials to the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Serve internal customers
• Ensure materials flow from receiving to inventory to production
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Use RF scanners to receive and store products
• Use RF scanners to pull parts from work order pick lists
• Input multiple transactions into the ERP system including issue, adjust, transfer, and scrap
• Support production by responding to parts requests promptly
• Perform daily cycle counts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment center, or production environment
• Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Additional experience in receiving, shipping, and supporting production preferred
