Hourly rate: $18–$20/hour plus a monthly incentive bonus after 90 days of employment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Locate material and pull orders using established RF/warehouse procedures to fulfill orders.
- Unload product (using both a forklift and hand loading) and put away product accurately to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Check in any incoming product using established RF/warehouse procedures for receiving, ensuring deliveries match the company purchase order.
- Meet or exceed established goals for order pulling accuracy and inventory accuracy.
- Perform any necessary activities to get products ready for staging such as accurate labeling, palletizing, and/or wrapping.
- Prep and assemble products as needed for custom non-stock orders.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment and machinery (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment).
- Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state, and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with will-call service by helping load customer orders or unload material that is being returned using branch procedures and protocols.
- Assist with “kitting” duties, including building transfers or work orders for kitting as specified by the customer, labeling material, and assisting with customized packaging solutions.
- Conduct cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Management and team members to optimize workflow.
- Participate in any relevant material handling training as assigned by the Company.
- Perform other related duties within the warehouse as assigned by Management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Skills
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics is a plus.
- Experience with RF devices is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems and order processing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with forklift and ability to maintain forklift certification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and reading skills (in English) to interpret work orders, inventory labels, and safety information.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel computer equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects.
- Stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Move or traverse considerable distances in the facility during the course of a workday.
- Perform essential warehouse tasks requiring good physical fitness, including lifting up to 50 lbs. to a height of 3–4 feet and loading product into trucks.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Ascend/descend a ladder to pull or put away product from shelving and racking.
- Safely operate a dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies.
Working Conditions
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent physical activity.
- Safety PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and safety-toed boots are required.
