Material Handler - AMT

About the Role

We are seeking a Material Handler responsible for the receipt, storage, and issue of materials, as well as the general maintenance and appearance of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials
• Ensures inventory accuracy of count, location, and lot control
• Issues jobs to machine shop
• Maintains warehouse function and appearance
• Moves material utilizing a forklift
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated and dependable individual that can work independently
• Preferred: Prior forklift experience
• Candidate must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations

Physical Demands

• Standing, sitting, and walking throughout the workday
• Use of computer keyboard, mouse, and multi-line phone throughout the workday
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Work Environment

The Material Handler is required to enter the warehouse and/or machine shop environment at times throughout the workday; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and vapor from coolant, etc. Industry-standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required. Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy.

Pay

$22.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
