Material Handler - A Shift (Storm Lake Pork)

About the role

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role is located in the cold-side storage of this pork processing facility. The facility operates 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in all areas
• Repetitive lifting of boxes weighing 10-100 lbs
• Working in a cold environment (average temperature ranges from 15°F to -15°F, depending on the area)

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must pass a background check (required for certain roles at Tyson)

Pay

Starting pay: $23.90 per hour
