Material Handler (86222)

Responsibilities

• Looks up inventory related information in computer
• Issues, receives and transfers materials to and from other buildings
• Enters inventory transaction into computer (manual or through scanner) for all issue, receipt and transfer material movements
• Performs inventory cycle counts
• Operates forklift truck in a safe manner following all company policies and regulations
• Loads and unloads containers or trailers
• Performs training on general warehouse duties and housekeeping

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year forklift operating experience
• Company ERP system, SAP preferred
• Basic PC skills including email and Microsoft Office products
• Valid California Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• High school diploma, GED or equivalency
• English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies
• Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied
• Available to work the shift specified by the position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekends/ holidays
