About the role
The Material Handler, Picker Packer is responsible for selecting and packaging products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The role may involve operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks and requires adherence to safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and package products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy in picking and packing process.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing to ensure only high-quality products are shipped.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Utilize appropriate packing materials and techniques to protect items during transit, minimizing the risk of damage.
- Prepares pallets of products by weighing, measuring, and labeling correctly.
- Works closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order processing.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Teamwork.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly over an 8-hour shift.
Qualifications
- Must remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
