Job Summary MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Material Handler - 2nd Shift at our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. In this role, you will move, inspect, store, issue, and track materials to keep production and shipping running accurately and on schedule. You will use forklifts and warehouse systems to support safe material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely deliveries. Location: Farmington Hills, MIWork Arrangement: On-siteSchedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PMPay: $19-$21/hour, depending on skills and experienceOther Compensation: $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd ShiftEmployment Type: Full-time / HourlyOvertime: Occasional overtime may be required. What You'll Do as a Material Handler Process shipments and accurately load orders to help meet production schedules.Receive, inspect, store, issue, schedule, move, weigh, stock, and pack materials and products while supporting appropriate inventory levels.Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and other warehouse equipment, to move materials throughout the facility.Load and unload trucks while supporting the safe handling and transportation of materials and products.Use JDE, RFS, and RF technology to accurately track inventory movement and support efficient shipping processes.Deliver raw materials to work centers promptly to support production and minimize downtime.Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and reconciliations, and confirm materials are correctly labeled, packaged, and inspected for damage. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role involves working in a manufacturing and material-handling environment, including the use of powered industrial equipment such as forklifts.The position requires pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 30 pounds.Employees in this role need the dexterity to handle small objects.The role involves working in noisy environments.
