Material Handler 2nd Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. The Material Handler 2nd Shift position is permanent and full-time, with a shift of 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday from 3:30 pm-12:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper movement of all materials
• Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
• Cycle counting of raw materials as required
• Proper picking and loading of finished goods
• Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
• Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
• Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
• Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• SAP experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc.
• Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems
• Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills
• Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks
