Material Handler 2nd Shift

About the role

Opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Material Handler in our Apex, NC distribution center. This position operates a forklift to move, load, and unload products in a distribution warehouse environment.

Schedule

• B shift Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM
• $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials
• Use forklift or powered pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
• Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers
• Perform basic mathematical calculations
• Follow safety regulations
• Perform other related duties, as required or directed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
