Material Handler 2 - Temp

About the Role

As a Material Handler 2 in Shipping at Bonduelle, you will play an active part in our mission: "inspire the transition toward a plant-based diet to contribute to people's well-being and planet health." This role involves picking and unloading products rapidly, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and rotation in a refrigerated production environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP, and Sanitation guidelines and processes.
• Rotate product by date in the storage cooler while staying in rotation and picking the correct product based on age.
• Pick orders and stage by route, then load the product onto the correct truck in the correct sequence to ensure customer delivery accuracy.
• Locate products in the JDE/DSI system into the designated location using a scanner.
• Ensure all orders are picked on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets.
• Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature.
• Inspect trailers for any odor or holes and confirm the chute is clean; ensure trailers are locked in the dock door.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• GED/High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to have good judgment.
• Some specialized training such as warehouse clerk roles with computer experience and/or inventory exposure.
