Material Handler 1st shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. The Material Handler position is permanent and full-time, with a base pay of $19.50 per hour and a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for proper movement of all materials - Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines - Cycle counting of raw materials as required - Proper picking and loading of finished goods - Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care - Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined - Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up - Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc. - Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- SAP experience preferred - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc. - Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems - Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills - Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks
