Material Handler - 12 Hour Rotating Shift (TEMP TO HIRE)

Preparing materials for inventory daily according to requests. Responsibilities: Support EOL (End Of Line) Production and shipment process Coordinate/Inspect incoming and outgoing pallets to make sure the tray count, pallet reports are correct Learn and understand GMES system, ability to make/view basic reports Manage amount of empty pallets and dunnage, black skids, strap in the warehouse Able to operator a forklift safely around pedestrians and in a congested area. Perform daily checks of forklift to ensure it is safe to operate Check forklift battery and charge when not in use Keep Warehouse clean and organized Support inventory process Contacting with Tray coordinator organize/help moving empty aging trays Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position Follow established work instructions Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: 1 to 3+ years of related work experience 1+ year of forklift experience Skills: MS Office Suite Communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills Basic math skills are required Ability to read and interpret graphs and measurements Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Stoop, twist, bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
