About the Role
Mercury Electronics is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Material Coordinator to report directly to the Materials Manager. This role is ideal for an outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can effectively multi-task while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Use the in-house computer system for all inventory records.
- Establish inventory records with all necessary data.
- Maintain accuracy of inventory regarding physical counts and monetary value.
- Maintain kanban and min/max systems as directed by customer requests.
- Process truth tables in a timely manner and generate requisitions for purchasing.
- Sign off on Bill of Materials and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and adjust inventory as required.
- Assist material clerks with daily job duties as needed.
- Run reports through the in-house computer system.
- Keep management informed by analyzing and summarizing reports and other information.
Requirements
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all organizational levels.
- Strong basic math accuracy.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with databases and/or ERP systems (required).
- Familiarity with manufacturing companies, electrical or electronic components, import/export documentation, or ERP software migrations (preferred but not required).
- Experience with filePro databases or Epicor ERP (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of ISO, LEAN, ITAR, materials, and inventory systems (preferred but not required).
- Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to occasionally work extended hours.
