Qualifications
- 1-2 years prior shipbuilding experience
- 1-2 years experience working in a warehouse or materials control environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with shipyard terminology
- Competency with spreadsheets and inventory management systems
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with the bill of materials shipbuilding and terminology
Responsibilities
- Assist Material Control with the tracking and management of all warehouse inventory.
- Kit materials based on spreadsheets or generated lists from Central Planning.
- Cook with warehouse personnel to check material availability or identify back-ordered items.
- Arrange for the transportation of available materials to job sites.
- Follow up on back-ordered materials to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain accurate paperwork for material receipt, storage, and movement.
Pay
- $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
