Material Coordinator
Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business based in Raleigh, NC. With over 20 years of expertise in training, consulting, technology, and operational support, the company provides services to the military, government, and law enforcement. This role supports operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico.
About the role
The Material Coordinator supports the daily operations of the armory/materials function by maintaining accurate weapons and ammunition records, processing inventory transactions, coordinating requests, and providing administrative support to instructors, ammunition technicians, and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weapons, ammunition, and inventory records, including daily counts, on-hand reports, and control forms.
- Process AIMS issues and returns and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain Ammo Technician Logs, weapons technical inventory, and instructor sign-out records.
- Verify schedules and requests and prepare daily and weekly schedules and required forms.
- Support graduations and transfers by completing transfer logs, verifying serial numbers, and coordinating Security escorts.
- Process instructor requests and coordinate required signatures for issues, returns, and transfers.
- Answer phones and emails and maintain office records and documentation.
- Track supplies and maintain a clean, organized office.
- Communicate operational issues, discrepancies, and complaints to the Armory Supervisor.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as directed.

- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Basic computer, email, and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow established safety, security, inventory, and documentation procedures.
Work Expectations
The Material Coordinator is expected to maintain accurate records, promptly communicate issues, follow established procedures, and provide dependable support to the armory operation.
Pay
This position pays a base hourly rate of $26.40 per hour, plus an additional $5.09 per hour in Health & Welfare (H&W) benefits, in accordance with the applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.
