About the role

As a Material Coordinator at John Deere Seeding Moline in Moline, IL, you will maintain and improve inventory accuracy, support daily production goals, and lead projects related to inventory, material replenishment, and material presentation. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies, analyzing root causes, and driving corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing operations as part of a cross-functional team to meet daily production goals.
• Lead projects related to inventory accuracy, material replenishment, and material presentation for the production department.

Requirements

• Experience with manufacturing operations, including material flow and inventory management.
• Experience with data analysis and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Experience working cross-functionally with production, warehouse, supply management, and engineering teams.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed to support production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience with SAP (Materials Management / Warehouse Management modules) is a plus.
• Experience in Supply Management or Operations is a plus.
• Experience with the Deere Production System is a plus.
• Experience working with a unionized workforce is a plus.
