Material Control Specialist I (Tuesday - Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm)

Principal Responsibilities

• Data entry of all SAP and MAX transactions in the receiving and movement of raw material inventory.
• Pull all needed raw and in-process materials required by the company in a timely fashion.
• Utilize FEFO/FIFO practices.
• Assure compliance to all standard operating procedures.
• Maintain the accuracy of the inventory through periodic physical counting of the materials.
• Assist as needed with material returns according to company Quality, Purchasing, Financial and Manufacturing standards.
• Ensure expired materials are removed from stock.
• Timely transfer of needed materials for production and documents to storage location.
• Operate forklift.
• Drive company minitruck.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP/MAX or other material management software preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-site training available.
• Must meet requirements to be an authorized driver of company insured vehicles.
