Material Control Analyst

About the role

This position is responsible for all functions that support the flow of materials from inventory to the production line. This role has been identified as “safety sensitive” under applicable laws in the state of Washington, requiring successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain regular material control reports for management
• Update inventory management system
• Track part number adjustments
• Update and monitor inventory adjustments
• Enter cycle count results
• Develop part-to-part transfers
• Assign location in inventory for incoming materials
• Investigate inventory errors and location/assignment errors
• Assist in internal and external material audits
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
• Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements
• Complete all job duties safely, wearing all required PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Assist in other duties to support operations as requested by supervisor or manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems
• Solid proficiency using MS Office software, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
• Proven high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry, including stock locations and tag accuracies
• Knowledge of database programs used and their impact on material control functions (e.g., Titan, MASS, and/or SAP)
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing (including email), and to train others
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-picker

Preferred Qualifications

• College coursework leading toward completion of at least a 2-year degree

Pay

$26.25 per hour (range: $22.45 - $30.37)
