Material Clerk Unpacker - Weekend Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory.
• Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures.
• May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database.
• Follows instructions of the production tasks and completes the production targets of this position as required.
• Strictly adheres to the product quality standards, identifies, segregates, and reworks any non-conforming products to ensure the production of qualified products.
• Performs standardized operations according to the process standards and reduces losses from defects.
• Conducts self-inspections during the production process and provides timely feedback to the quality department and superiors.
• Implements solutions and corrective/preventive measures for abnormalities.
• Maintains a standard dress code and ensures the 6S practices at the workstation.
• Complies with company regulations, procedures, and cultural activities, and follows management directives.
• Participates actively in company training programs, masters the responsibilities of the position, and operates equipment proficiently to complete production tasks on time.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
• Outstanding learning and communication ability.
• Microsoft Office savvy.
• Solid fire safety knowledge.
