Material Attendant, Walt Disney World

As a Material Attendant, you’ll help inspire that magic by enabling our teams to push the limits of entertainment and create the never-before-seen. This role involves receiving, handling, and stocking parts, tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining multiple inventories across Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property. The position may include work from elevated platforms and requires operational certifications for forklifts and powered industrial trucks.
Responsibilities
- Receive and stock parts, tools, materials, and equipment utilizing computers and/or handheld devices
- Palletize and ship material
- Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage
- Inventory or count material and input data into the SAP inventory management tool
- Track and maintain proper inventory counts within recommended quantities
- Keep parts and/or tool areas neat and orderly
- Properly fill out and process requisitions to order necessary stock
- Label, sort, and wrap packing material
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to manage inventory
- Work off elevated platforms and ladders up to 15ft
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience
- Knowledge of SAP, Maximo, or equivalent programs
- Understanding of the purchasing and receiving process
- Ability to set up inventory, minimum/maximum counts, and maintain inventory
- Successfully complete all required training, including the use of power industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts and Power Pallet Jacks)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and use of computers/mobile devices
- Experience providing customer support to a diverse range of individuals, including internal partners, external collaborators, vendors, and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of operating power industrial trucks
- Experience with Wi-Fi handheld devices
- Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and Maximo
Pay
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $21.00 per hour.

Schedule
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
