Materials Management Attendant

About the role

Stores, processes, collects and distributes all supplies and equipment products to and from the hospital. Ensures adequate supply levels in all areas. The Distribution Attendant is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all par levels for storeroom safety stock and all other stocking locations. Conducts physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to the defined schedule, delivers and collects all Materials Management products to and from the hospital, and ensures adequate supply levels in all areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive, key, and promptly distribute all supplies within the facility.
• Review and maintain all par levels for storeroom safety stock and other stocking locations.
• Conduct physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to the defined schedule.
• Deliver and collect all Materials Management products to and from the hospital.
• Ensure adequate supply levels in all areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Requirements

• High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Schedule

• Full-time, evening shift.
• Rotating holidays and/or weekends required.

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $20.33 - $21.40 per hour if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
