Material Associated Lead V

About the Role

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Assistant Technician, Logistics & Stockroom to support efficient material movement and inventory management at our Miami, FL facility. This onsite role operates under immediate supervision and contributes to maintaining production and delivery schedules.

Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and movement of materials under immediate supervision.
• Prepare shipping documentation and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Ensure the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
• Maintain production and delivery schedules.
• Respond to basic customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
• Track and trace goods in transit to their destinations.
• Compile data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.
• Review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience inputting part numbers, serial numbers, and batch numbers into an inventory system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with receiving and shipping a variety of items while maintaining inventory control.
• Experience operating a pallet jack for loading and unloading trucks and vehicles.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar computer systems for data input and retrieval.
• Strong attention to detail and responsiveness to internal and external customer requirements.
• Solid technical writing skills and a demonstrated work ethic with leadership, business judgment, and innovation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory and customer requirements.
