Responsibilities

• Complete outbound telephone calls to insurance companies to retrieve documentation or validate information.
• Work within a call queue and document systems with appropriate notations.
• Perform research and document retrieval from online insurance sites.
• Complete other research projects as assigned.
• Maintain at least minimum proficiency results for productivity (data entry in addition to calls) and quality of work performed.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Support the company by maintaining minimum performance standards based on company service commitments and individual goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or balance workload.

Requirements

• 10-key typing: Minimum 32 WPM.
• Reading comprehension: Ability to understand company manuals step-by-step.
• Working knowledge of Windows computer environment and Office software, especially Excel (skills testing may be required prior to an interview).
• Prior P&C insurance, mortgage, or forced-placed insurance-related experience is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented.

Pay

Starting pay range: $16.00 - $16.50 an hour. Monthly bonus opportunities: Up to $300 a month.

Schedule

Hybrid in-office schedule: 4 days at home and 1 day in office. A performance-based work-from-home incentive is available after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
