Master Trainer Fitness & Sales Role

About the role

This is NOT your ordinary sales job. You're not cold-calling strangers or trying to convince people to buy a gym membership they don't want. Our clients come to us because they already know they need help. Your job is to meet them, understand what they're struggling with, assess their needs, and confidently show them how GYMGUYZ can help, when we're genuinely the right solution. A great Master Trainer is first and foremost a great trainer who loves people, builds relationships quickly, and isn't afraid to ask for the sale when they know they've found the right solution. We believe in consultative sales, not pressure sales. You're not expected to sell someone something they don't need. You're expected to listen, assess, identify whether we can solve the problem, and confidently recommend the appropriate service. If you can do that while delivering an exceptional client experience, you'll have the opportunity to earn more as you help the business grow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complimentary in-home fitness assessments and identify client goals, challenges, and needs
• Recommend appropriate personal training solutions and confidently close sales
• Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions
• Build strong relationships focused on results, accountability, and retention
• Identify opportunities for semi-private and group training
• Participate in weekly field marketing and community outreach
• Represent the GYMGUYZ brand professionally in clients' homes and throughout the territory
• Manage your schedule, appointments, and follow-up independently
• Help support the growth of the team and territory as the business expands

Requirements

• Personal Trainer Certification (CPT) from an accredited organization
• CPR/AED certification
• Experience in personal training or a strong foundation in fitness
• Comfort with sales conversations and closing during the assessment process
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for occasional evenings and some weekend hours

• You're comfortable asking for the business when you know GYMGUYZ is the right solution

Compensation & benefits

Session pay: $35 per personal training session, $45 per semi-private session, $55 per group session, plus 2% commission on new packages, renewals, and upgrades. A highly driven Master Trainer can earn upwards of $50k per year.

Additional compensation: Fuel and mileage compensation to offset the cost of being a mobile trainer.

Location & schedule

This is a mobile role covering Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties. You'll have the autonomy to manage your day, with availability required for occasional evenings and some weekend hours.
