Master Service Technician

Responsibilities

  • Performs the necessary technical services at customer sites for installation, and/or servicing of products.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Trouble shoot and repair as needed.
  • Render on-site and phone technical assistance.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines for expense reports, mileage reports, Field Service Reports, Service Tickets, Timesheets, etc.
  • Focus on personal development within the required work schedules.
  • Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines.
  • Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Technical Qualifications - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Basic Mathematical & Analytical Skills - Performing operations in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools.
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify potential problems and solutions.
  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related contexts.

  • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
  • Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
  • Control Precision - The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
  • Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
  • Speaking - Talking to others to convey information.
