Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a master production schedule that aligns with customer demand and production capacity.
- Develop and lead the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP).
- Responsible for creating a master production schedule that aligns with customer demand and production capacity (labor/machine).
- Analyze customer orders, production capabilities, and inventory levels to develop a schedule that optimizes production efficiency.
- Create and manage material planning activities, including inventory management, demand planning, production scheduling support, and coordination of material availability to meet operational requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure that the master production schedule is executed according to plan. Communicate effectively with production teams, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust the master production schedule as necessary based on constraints.
- Analyze production capacity and have a deep understanding of production capabilities and capacity.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Optimize production schedules while working closely with the logistics and production teams.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate production performance to management.
- Cascading relevant information to production teams to align on labor and shift models.
- Lead the design and implementation blueprints for system development on new projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
- APICS training/certification recommended.
- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive experience within an automotive environment.
- Extensive experience with the use of SAP across all modules.
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Extremely proficient with production planning systems (SAP-P01; SAP SCP); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain; Strong analytical and problem-solving skill; Competent in the use of MS Office; Project Management; Structured system and process thinker; Analytical with the capability of implementing processes and procedures; Independent, self-motivated, pro-active.
