Your Tasks
- Create and maintain a master production schedule that aligns with customer demand and production capacity.
- Develop and lead the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP).
- Create a master production schedule that aligns with customer demand and production capacity (labor/machine).
- Analyze customer orders, production capabilities, and inventory levels to develop a schedule that optimizes production efficiency.
- Create and manage material planning activities, including inventory management, demand planning, production scheduling support, and coordination of material availability to meet operational requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure the master production schedule is executed according to plan, communicate effectively, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust the schedule as necessary based on constraints.
- Analyze production capacity and have a deep understanding of production capabilities and capacity, identifying potential bottlenecks or constraints that could impact the master production schedule.
- Manage inventory levels/buffers to ensure necessary materials are available to support production, working closely with the production and customer teams to be in line with contractual volumes.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs, optimizing production schedules while working closely with the logistics and production teams.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, preparing reports and presentations to communicate production performance to management.
- Cascading relevant information to production teams to align on labor and shift models.
- Lead the design and implementation of system development blueprints for new projects.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
- APICS training/certification recommended.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience within an automotive environment.
- Extensive experience with the use of SAP across all modules.
- Extremely proficient with production planning systems (SAP-P01; SAP SCP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competent in the use of MS Office.
- Structured system and process thinker, capable of implementing processes and procedures.
- Independent, self-motivated, proactive.
