Master Scheduler

Job Responsibilities

• Manages production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Works closely with Production Planners on order releases and exception messages from the company system.
• Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements and makes suggestions to optimize efficiencies.
• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
• Analyzes and resolves scheduling issues impacting production.
• Responsible for materials systems management and dissemination of production scheduling data to ensure the effective execution of daily manufacturing plans.
• Incorporates process improvement methods and techniques involved in lean manufacturing as it relates to scheduling functions.
• Implements and drives continuous improvement activities through the application of change management and best practices.
• Ensures collaboration and coordination between relevant departments/plants including sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and management.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Supply chain certification (CSCP, CPSM, etc.) preferred.
• Three years of experience in the supply chain field.
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
