Responsibilities
- Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) across multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production schedulers supporting three manufacturing facilities and a dedicated labeling operation.
- Manage production planning across an operation with approximately 500 SKUs.
- Balance customer demand, inventory targets, production capacity, and material availability to maximize service and operational efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Quality, and Finance to align production plans with business objectives.
- Identify capacity constraints and supply risks and develop proactive mitigation plans.
- Improve planning accuracy, schedule adherence, inventory performance, and capacity utilization.
- Serve as the planning systems expert and maintain ERP data integrity.
- Develop and track key planning metrics and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across production and supply chain planning processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience managing planners or schedulers.
- Strong expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Proven ability to balance demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing and high-SKU operations strongly preferred.
- Food, beverage, dairy, or CPG manufacturing experience preferred.
- Private-label or contract manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of S&OP processes preferred.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
Pay
$130,000 - $150,000 per year
