Master Scheduler

About the role

Meyer Utility Structures (MUS) is searching for a Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and execute the plant’s Master Production Schedule at our Hager City, WI manufacturing plant. This role supports on-time delivery, optimal capacity utilization, and revenue goals while serving as a key link between production, project management, and customers using data-driven planning tools to align demand, capacity, and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support on-time delivery and plant capacity goals
• Monitor workflow and production performance to identify, communicate, and resolve capacity constraints
• Develop production plans using backlog data, demand signals, and capacity assumptions
• Partner closely with Project Managers and customers to provide project status updates and coordinate priorities
• Support on-time delivery by proactively identifying risks and driving corrective actions
• Generate and distribute work order cuttings, production reports, and schedule updates to the production team
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems
• Continuously improve scheduling, reporting, and planning processes using data and analytics
• Provide accurate and timely data processing and reporting
• Conduct production performance analysis
• Handle customer-specific reporting and inquiries

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 or more years of production scheduling, master scheduling, or manufacturing planning
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and production control
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
