On-siteManagement$103k–$133k/yrFull-time

Agility's commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.

About the Role

Agility Robotics is seeking to hire a Master Production Scheduler to lead the creation of our Master Production Schedule (MPS) in our state-of-the-art robotics manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the body of work orders that drive production and assembly activities. This highly visible role involves partnership with planning staff, production coordinators, manufacturing engineers, purchasing, and inventory teams to align production output with business goals.

The Master Production Scheduler must facilitate interdepartmental projects, coordinate efforts, and track materials in a fast-paced production environment. The scheduling of manufacturing labor, machinery, and materials impacts our ability to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. The role requires consideration of labor efficiency, material readiness, customer delivery performance, bill of materials layers, and cycle times for production cells to optimize production activities, often balancing adversarial metrics.

The Master Production Scheduler is also responsible for creating non-standard work orders for material transformation, rework, or repair of assemblies, which may involve quality staff, engineering support, and other internal teams. This position reports to the Director of Planning & Supply Chain and requires minimal supervision. It involves high interaction with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, and other departments, demanding strong independent judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) consisting of work orders created in our ERP system.
  • Optimize the work order schedule based on material availability, labor constraints, machinery availability, and other factors.
  • Track production schedule attainment/adherence and change requests.
  • Identify risks to production and work with staff on mitigation activities.
  • Monitor work order aging and reschedule missed production output within factory and material capacity constraints.
  • Lead scheduling meetings and provide clear visibility to all staff relying on production information.
  • Use ERP functionality to track material movements, work order attainment, assembly revisions, and material transformations.
  • Enable the configuration of simulations based on guidance to explore comparative production scenarios.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Sciences, or other related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in production scheduling in a complex, low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment (robotics, EMS, or other technology company).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to use ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, order processing times, material planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong ability to use analytical tools including Google Sheets and/or MS Excel.
  • Ability to operate with limited supervision, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Preferred: APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBF CPF, or other related certifications.
