About the role
Acts Construction is seeking a Master Painter / Foreman to join their team. This role involves performing surface preparation, selecting paint materials, and applying various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine to complex surface preparation
- Selects appropriate paint materials
- Uses various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish
- Removes old finishes and preps surfaces for interior and/or exterior painting
- Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment
- Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work
- Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc.
- Potential to operate as team lead and supervise paint crews, providing positive direction to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7-10 years of painting experience
- Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Pay & Schedule
Pay Range: $25.75 - $33.12 / hour
Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7-10 years of painting experience
- Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
