Master Painter

About the role

This is an onsite, full-time contract position located at our headquarters. The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial and institutional painting. The candidate will be responsible for advanced painting tasks, surface preparation, and ensuring the highest quality finishes using industry-standard techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced interior and exterior painting tasks
• Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Train and guide junior painters
• Coordinate material requirements and project schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 10 years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience
• Extensive knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, primers, stains, and finishes
• Experience with drywall repair, patching, caulking, and wall preparation
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices
