Key Responsibilities
- C Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients experiencing mental health and substance use disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and relapse prevention support
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, medical providers, and community resources to coordinate client care
- Educate clients and families on mental health, addiction, coping strategies, and recovery resources
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in compliance with HIPAA and professional licensing regulations
- Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- M Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Experience working with mental health and/or substance abuse populations preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and 12 Steps.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience
- Co-occurring disorders treatment
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive outpatient (IOP), or outpatient behavioral health services
- Crisis stabilization or community mental health experience
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation systems
