Master Level Intern

About the Role

Full-time internship position for a Master’s-level therapist intern at a rural outpatient clinic. The clinic serves a diverse clientele, requiring comfort working with clients of all ages. This is a non-paid internship with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy as part of an internship required by a Master’s program in counseling, marriage/family therapy, social work, or a related field.
• Perform initial assessments, maintain treatment plans, and complete all clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum education level of a Bachelor’s Degree and current enrollment in good standing in a Master’s degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
• Previous mental health experience preferred but not required.
• Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.
