Master's Level Clinical Intern

If so, JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community.
About the role
In this position with the CT Community Based Services team, you will support JRI’s mission by providing services in the communities where the people we serve live. Our staff utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and evidence-based practices. Additional interns may have the opportunity for some clinic-based outpatient services as well.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Explore clinical knowledge through evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.
Requirements
- Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents; familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
