SUMMARY OF POSITION

A full time position for a Master’s level therapist intern at a rural outpatient clinic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family and group therapy as part of internship required by Master's program in counseling, marriage/family therapy, or social work.
  • Perform initial assessments, maintain treatment plans and complete all clinical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education level of Bachelor's Degree and a student in good standing currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing – 20%
  • Sitting – 80%
  • Squatting – Occasional
  • Kneeling – Occasional
  • Bending – Occasional
  • Driving – Occasional
  • Lifting – Occasional
