Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Master Electrician of Record for LPI Global LLC’s Texas Electrical Contractor License.
- Support LPI Global LLC in preparing, submitting, and maintaining its Texas Electrical Contractor License application.
- Maintain an active and valid Texas Master Electrician License during the assignment period.
- Notify LPI Global LLC immediately of any issue that may affect the status, validity, renewal, suspension, or assignment of the Texas Master Electrician License.
- Support electrical permit applications for LPI Global LLC projects in Texas.
- Review permit-related information, electrical scope descriptions, and supporting documents when required.
- Assist with responses to comments from authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), inspectors, project owners, or general contractors.
- Participate in inspections, meetings, or calls with AHJ, inspectors, owners, general contractors, or project teams as reasonably required.
- Provide technical clarification related to electrical permits, inspections, code compliance, and licensing matters.
- Provide guidance regarding compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), TDLR requirements, applicable Texas electrical regulations, and local AHJ requirements.
- Review electrical installation plans, project documents, scope descriptions, or field conditions on an as-needed basis.
- Advise LPI Global LLC regarding electrical code issues, inspection concerns, permit comments, and corrective action requirements.
- Support the project team in resolving electrical compliance questions related to commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Provide professional guidance to help ensure that electrical work performed by LPI Global LLC is completed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Provide appropriate supervision and technical oversight for electrical work as required for the Master Electrician of Record role.
- Cover project sites when required for inspections, AHJ coordination, permit-related matters, project-specific technical issues, or other business needs.
- Provide support by phone, email, video conference, or site visit depending on project requirements.
- Communicate with LPI Global LLC management regarding licensing, permit, inspection, and compliance matters.
- Provide timely support for documentation required by TDLR, AHJ, general contractors, project owners, or other relevant parties.
- Review and provide input on electrical scope descriptions, permit narratives, inspection responses, or compliance-related documents when requested.
- Maintain professional communication with inspectors, AHJ representatives, clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Promptly report any significant electrical compliance issue, inspection concern, or licensing matter to LPI Global LLC management.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Master Electrician License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Texas electrical licensing requirements, and local AHJ inspection practices.
- Experience supporting electrical permits, inspections, electrical contractor licensing, or code compliance matters.
- Ability to review electrical documents and provide technical guidance related to code compliance and electrical installation requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with project teams, inspectors, AHJ representatives, owners, and general contractors.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
- Experience supporting electrical contractor license applications or permit applications in Texas.
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, battery, semiconductor, automotive, data center, or similar large-scale construction projects.
- OSHA training or other safety-related certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical inspection procedures and project closeout documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Able to visit project sites when required.
- Able to attend inspections, field meetings, or AHJ meetings if requested.
- Able to wear standard construction personal protective equipment (PPE) during site visits.
- Able to safely access construction areas when site visits are required.
