About the role
The Georgia-Pacific’s Mill in Camas, WA is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work in various areas of the facility. The starting wage is $48.75/hour to $53.44/hour based on experience, plus shift differentials and a $3,000 sign-on bonus after 120 days.
Responsibilities
- Equipment and process troubleshooting
- PLC and Drive Maintenance
- Control wiring installation and repair
- Assist crew members working in a team environment
- Support our safe working environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate PPE
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on all types of Industrial Equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Experience with Word, Excel, and window drive apps
- 4 years of electrical experience in an industrialized, manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree/training in the Electrical & Instrumentation field
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry
- Proficiency in Industrial Motor Controls (PLC, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, & temperature)
- Possession of a Washington Electrical License or a reciprocal license

Pay
This position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus payable after 120 days.

This position may work in any area of the facility and includes shifts such as Swing Shift and Graveyard (Overnight) Shift with corresponding shift differentials.
