Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical systems.
- Oversee PLC programming.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
- Use specialized instruments to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications.
- Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies.
- Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.
- Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment.
- Mentor entry level and journeyman electricians.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-pressure environment independently.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC programming and electrical systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex diagrams and schematics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in industrial power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and electrical code compliance.
- Working knowledge of computers and applicable software.
