Master Diesel Tech-Mechanic

About the role

Join our team of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians who support over 280 locations across the country. As a Master Technician, you will train new technicians, diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers, and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Train new technicians in providing accurate, efficient service
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written
• Facilitate and train new hire technicians using a prescribed curriculum
• Partner with management to identify training opportunities for new hires
• Encourage training completion and compliance
• Understand and promote Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck service experience
• All (7) heavy duty ASE certifications (T2 – T8), and the L2 certification
• A strong desire to mentor and train others
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
• A valid driver's license
