About the role
Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. The hospital provides specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region, including intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. The center offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate therapeutic care to Women’s Center clients suffering from physical pain and discomfort.
- Show sensitivity to patient care and communication needs.
- Show a strong appreciation for the value of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
- Deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
Requirements
- Current Hawai’i Massage Therapy License.
- Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card.
- One (1) year working experience in massage therapy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hawai’i State Acupuncture License (required to perform Acupuncture Treatment).
- National certification as Massage Therapist.
